Forum: GratefulDead Subject: What's Up?

Some folks trust to reason
Others trust to might
I don't trust to nothin'
But I know it come out right

Say it once again now
Oh,I hope you understand
When it's done and over
Lord,a man is just a man

Playin'
Playin' in the band
Daybreak
Daybreak on the land

Some folks look for answers
Others look for fights
Some folks up in treetops
Just look to see the sights

I can tell your future
Just look what's in your hand
But I can't stop for nothin'
I'm just playin' in the band

Playin'
Playin' in the band
Daybreak
Daybreak on the land

Standin' on a tower
World at my command
You just keep a-turning
While I'm playin' in the band

If a man among you
Got no sin upon his hand
Let him cast a stone at me
For playing in the band

Playin'
Playin' in the band
Daybreak
Daybreak on the land
Playin'
Like a wave upon the sand
Daybreak
While I'm playing in the band

All but one man died.
There at Bitter Creek.
And they say he ran away.

Branded, scorned as the one who ran.
What do you do when you're branded, and you know you're a man.

Wherever you go, for the rest of your life
You must prove, you're a man.

Full song

All but one man died,
There at Bitter Creek,
And they say he ran away ...

Branded!
Marked with a coward's shame.
What do you do when you're branded,
Will you fight for your name?

He was innocent,
Not a charge was true,
But the world will never know ...

Branded!
Scorned as the one who ran.
What do you do when you're branded,
And you know you're a man?

And wherever you go
for the rest of your life
You must prove ...
You're a man!

Pack mentality. It happens fast. Some here, despite their claims, really don't think for themselves after all.

Well PP.....if you care, you'll keep trying and I'm sure you'll find a friend or 2.

The most charismatic troll ever to camp here actually conformed and later made relationships......I feel proud that we turned him. You may or may not be a troll.....who cares.

It's the drama(troll and troll feeding) I could do without.

It's too bad we don't get the chance to get together in living color.

Ian and I still have you and Dire slated for an extremely one-sided two on two game. We could settle a great deal on the court, or at least we could take care of the trolls, if they even exist...they are ALWAYS short, right?

You're more creative than that!

C'mon Paulie, what's your favorite Dark Star and why?

Personally, I never really cared for Dark Star. Give me a rocking Can't Come Down and/or Mindbender instead. Hell, sometimes I'd rather listen to a good Samba In The Rain, or maybe even a Day Job. On the very rare occasion, I break out the Barbed Wire Whipping Party.

What's became of the baby?

Caution: only the original mix puts one in the proper mood for what we are about to, uh, undertake...
